FAQ
- Frequently Asked Questions -Won't everyone else already know each other?
No. Most people come alone and don't know anyone else at the table.
The only people who already know each other are the Dungeon Masters running the games. Occasionally two friends may attend together, but most players are meeting for the first time. Will I be the only girl at the event?
Probably not.
Most events are around 3 men for every 1 woman, which usually means 2 women at each table. While every event is different, our games are designed to be welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.I'm worried I might be too old/too young for this?
Most attendees are between 24 and 49 years old, with many falling between 25 and 35.
Our events are designed for working adults who enjoy fantasy stories, games, and meeting new people. What does a beginner session look like?

How I got Here
It was Melbourne’s lockdowns, I had just moved, and I was feeling isolated.I worked a lot and stayed home the rest. I don't drink and night life generally wasn't for me.
My free time was spent listening to podcasts and playing video games.I got super lucky when I was invited to play a D&D game, once a week.
We laughed. We told stories. We had something to look forward to.
It became the highlight of my week.Years later I figured out the THREE
fundamental components that worked to connect people so well.As the only full time Professional Game Master in Melbourne, with over 657 Five Star ⭐ratings for my Melbourne based game nights - I was given the opportunity to learn what makes our games so special.1) Time - regular availability
2) Opportunity - novelty/challenges
3) Alignment - shared interestThis is what made us so different to the rest. Our guided game nights could do what 100 other outings couldn't.Bars, Clubs, Language Exchanges, Boardgame nights in the back of Pubs, Walks, Runs - you name it. They often miss one or more of these crucial components.I created the Ludos Guild to share with people who enjoy high quality structured role-play game experiences, and bring the same opportunities for excitement and fellowship to others. If that sounds like something you'd like, you’re welcome to join us, we run beginner sessions to D&D on saturdays (and Fridays).— Jope (Organiser, Dungeon Master)
